Serch for more results?

OMG serching for more results on a serch string and espicaly on a download is just SO baic in p2p app. LimeWire clames to be the "most advance p2p app" but it dose not even have the most basic functions that make a p2p app 1/2 decieant. WTF! I mean it is relay night and day when you can serch for more results on a download to make it faster and reduce stress on indivudual users. What about serching for more results on a serch string? lserching more makes youer results so much better look at kazaa(well K++) and Shareaza (which I know the developers at LimeWire hate BUT GUESS WHAT shareaza was number 1 on www.zeropaid.com for a relay long time and it just got dethround it will be back at number 1 soon.

there's nothing stopping you from searching for more results. (right click in the results and click 'repeat search') Perhaps you mean that the old results disappear when you do. Oh well.

If you start a download and then run the search again, any new results found can be added to the already running download.

J have similar feelings about re - searching in LimeWire as Munchables.

But this way is wery uncomfortable. (Especially becouse downloaded files on searching list doesn't differ from others (Linux)). When I search 50 filess, and begin downloading 30, then re - search - And get 50 files, from which I am downloading , let's say, twenty... J have to click an error message "You are already downloading.." many times...

When I discovered how this feature works in LimeWire I was very disappointed

true. it can be hard keeping track of which ones you have already stared downloading. It would be easy to get rid of that popup, so you could just click away. Probably wouldn't be too hard to keep old results and add a 'clear' button. I'll have a look, could be fun :)

edit: it is indeed very easy to keep the old search results when searching again. I'll have to think about how best to do that in my personal build. Have seperate menu choices for "Extend Search" (keep old results) and "search again" (clear old results first), or have "search again" keep old results, and add a choice for "clear" to get rid of old results, if you only want to see new ones.. Anyone with any thoughts on that?

edit again: I went for the second option. Just too confusing to have 2 search again options. The hard part about getting it all to work was not displaying the same file twice from the same person on extended search. got that sorted out though. On extend search, it checks for dupes within groups.
