detect invalid MP3 ID3v2 tags

It's been a month since the discovery of a bug (in both the WinXP desktop-shell and WinAmp) wherein MP3 files can sport buffer-busting code in the ID3 tag. I know that LW already detects "invalid" downloads somehow -- does this include MP3s with invalid ID3 tags? This would be a built-in way to block the spread of infected files!

I don't think there are enough 'infected' files to justify the amount of work that would be necessary to do that. - Besides there are enough programs out there that will play those mp3 files flawlessly and without security risk.

So, is my idea unrelated to what LW already does when it reports "invalid file" and cancels a download?
