Can I rate a file?
 

I have a song I wrote that I want to share. It's in my shared files.. but in the search it will not find it.. i'm wondering if it won't because it has no star rating. Is there anyway to rate my file so that it will show up in searches or is there another problem that won't allow it to show up?? It is called "Sitting on the Roof" by Shrimp Scampi. Thanks!

No you cannot rate files. The star-rating is not about the file but about the computer offering the file. It shows whether this file is hosted on a computer that is busy, firewalled or accepting downloads.
