monitor to search

I would like to be able to copy words found in the monitor's incoming searches (that I can now highlight but not copy) and paste into a search field.

this would be convenient as I often see things I had not considered searching for.

oh yeah, that reminds me, AN EDIT MENU!!!!!!!!!!!
