Incomplete directory

Hello,
I'm thinking about buying the PRO but i think some improvments are definetly needed.

1) It MUST be possible to choose the "Incomplete" directory in the settings! (have read in the forum that it's possible to edit the props file but it not user friendly and a good program should be configured through the GUI!)

2) The library list should be automatically updated when new files added! Also sometime i experience that when i use the update, the files don't appear!

Thanks for listening :)
Regards

1) The Incomplete directory is always located where the saving directory is. If you change the location of the Shared folder, your Incomplete folder will also move to the same parent directory.

2) Newly downloaded files are added to the library automatically. If you just move around some files with another file manager, LimeWire will not keep track of it. If you click the refresh button and files do not appear that may either be a bug (one that I haven't heard of before) or the files that do not appear have a file extension unknown to limewire. To add other extensions to the list of shared extensions go to tools->options->sharing.

strange

Sure i understand that. The developers have made it easy for themselfes.
i'm a software developer aswell :)
Anyhow the choice should be up to the users and not the developer! ;)
I Say it again, the incomplete dir should/must be possible to change in the Options!

Hope that limewire cares about user suggestions

Glad to hear you're a developer, reza666. You may not have known, but LimeWire is completely open-source. Feel free to implement and submit a patch that does this. Lots of itches were scratched this way (like the initial revision of partial file sharing, submitted by Gregorio Roper, the 'time remaining' columns, submitted by me, iTunes integration, submitted by Roger Kapsi, the use of a DMG on OSX for the installer, submitted by Jens-Uwe Mager, the whole internationalization project, spearheaded and maintained by Philippe Verdy, etc...).

cool

Ah this is nice...
Didn't know users could change the code!
Strange cosidering there is Pro version ....This way users should be able to use the code and remove the add etc or?
I'm a Pro user myself :)

Anyway i will look at this as soon as i have more time.....It's been a while i coded in java.... currently i'm using Borland and .NET.
Wish LimeWare was writen in .NET. I would have added many features then ;)

btw where can i download the sourcecode? can't find it anywhere?

Thanks
/R
