Attn gbildson: The future of Limewire?

I noticed on the limewire web site that some info on meta data was being considered for addition to the protocol. Would all info have to be entered manually or would your system be able to read meta data already in some media files such as mp3's and videos (bitrate, resolution, length, ect...)?

Also, when are you going to fix the bug that prevents limewire from resuming an upload? This is really a horrible problem that has existed with limewire for some time.

Also, now that gnutella is being cracked down on what can we expect in terms of privacy implements? Will limepeers consider developing based on the freenet protocol?

So you would argue that the problem with resuming is due to bearshare? I assumed that it was not since it resumes from every other servant just fine and I have never (even private to private, no firewalls) been able to resume from a limewire server. I still held my tonque until I found out that Furi/Phex had the same problem with limewire, so I assumed that limewire was the problem. I would certainly be helpful if this compatability issue could be worked out.

When is the next version of limewire due? I really loved limewire but 1.3 was unusable for me. What improvements can we expect?
