Have you tried DL fewer files at a time and lowering your UL bandwidth to 80% of you UL bandwidth capability.

Do a speed test and find out what your Bandwidth is.

How many files are you DL at a time.

LimeWire is very efficient and can overload your connection and computer if you get too greedy.
