An LW downloader (mini LW, with only minimal code) + get UPnP code from Azureus

I'd wish for LimeWire to develop a version of LimeWire which would only be used as download helper for magnet-Links with start-location.

Maybe you could use code from Azureus for this, just not with BitTorrent as Protocol, but simply with Gnutella. Azureus is also GPLled, so there should be no problems with LW using their code.

It could connect to the Gnutella Network and maybe even have manual searching code excluded, so that it only does automatic searches for magnet links.

Then its interface should focus far more on downloads and uploads (like Azureus does with some success) than on additional information about the network.

Maybe it would even be possible to "import" torrents, so their info would be used to start a Gnutella Download.
And most importantly: It should contain an info, that shutting down before resharing at least as much as was being downloaded harms the network.

Then it might contain a preview for mp3s, which virtually allows streaming like Acquisition, and maybe in a more download-oriented interface even a review for video-files.

They also say they have UPnP, so you might not have to write that code yourself.
