Did you ever experience mp3-streaming of Acquisition?

If not, you should seek a MacUser of your trust and try it out.
If you have enought sources, Acquisition previews the mp3 from beginning to end after maybe 10s, and for that it simply uses the Quicktime-Engine (didn't have to write the mp3-code).

The same would be possible with videos somehow. (though it will be some time, till we can stream videos).
