Can we see a pause button for downloads so we can resume downloads cause alot of us can wait and wait for a download to finish.

You can already do that, in a way: just kill the dld. When you want to resume it again, just go over to the Library, click Incompletes, look for the file, select it and click resume (although a Pause function would indeed be less of a hassle).

We're planning to add a Pause functionality at some point in the future.

Yes a pause button would be great for dial-up users downloading big files.
