New Feature Requests Your idea for a cool new feature. Or, a LimeWire annoyance that has to get changed.

Default Force people to upload

It would encourage more people to share if Limewire had a feature which allows uploaders to only upload files to people who are sharing a certain number of files (specified by the user; however may have a max of, say, 1000).

I especially hate those people that don't share anything yet, downloads hundreds upon hundreds of files from other people. That is just darn right selfish.

Cheers,

~Twang~

P.s. When someone is uploading, and you right-click on the file icon and the option "browse host" is not an option, does that mean the downloader isn't sharing anything?

Me, too. The joke is that the same people are complaining that the downloads are sooo slow.

No you can disable this option, but I bet many of those people don´t share.

From this point of view, clients like BitTorrent are great: they "force" you to upload and there's nothing you can do about it, unless you are Mister Hacker and have a lot of free time in your hands.
