Timer Control! The feature that I could really use is a timer control, i.e. to start Limewire at say for instance, midnight, when my 'off-peak' time begins. That way I could fiully utilize my bandwidth, even while sleeping! Whadayareckon? cheers!!! |
I agree a timer within Limewire would be great. I have used 12 ghosts timer, but it comes with all this other crap that I don't like. And as yet I have had no luck with the windows scheduler, not sure why. Must investigate. But a Limewire on and off time would be greatly appreciated. |
Although I still think a Limewire timer is a good idea I did get the Win XP one to work. The previous problem had to do with not being logged onto the machine, but I worked that out. start/programs/accessories/system tools/scheduled tasks and then you enter in that you want Limewire to run each night from middnight, or 11:59pm if you are like me and perennially unsure if midnight is am or pm. You can even tell it to run for a certain time under advanced options, ie 7 hours if you are on a mid-7am off peak rate. happy times |
All times are GMT -7. The time now is 12:32 AM. |
