 Don't forget that many share in other ways. For example, someone running 24/7 as an Ultrapeer on a good connection can contributes as much as 1 GB of bandwidth daily to the network. Plus, LW has no say over what people share or not. The network has no central servers, so really does depend on a community network. Asking LW to ban an individula for poor shares is like asking Ford to ban black-haired drivers who use cell phones  Yes, it is good (even vital) when people share thoughtfully.  |
