Feature to set the Incomplete folder directory
 

I would like to request a feature in Limewire that will allow you to set the Incomplete folder directory. Currently, the Incomplete folder is automatically created in the same directory as the Shared folder. (link to my post about this)

I have seen two threads claiming there's a thread describing how to edit the "props files" to manually set the incomplete files folder, but they don't specify where this thread is, and I can't find it.

So how do you do it? I notice a file C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\.limewire\limewire.props which appears to store configuration settings. However, there's no keyword resembling DIRECTORY_FOR_INCOMPLETE_FILES, nor does my current incompletes folder's name appear anywhere. In fact, the only occurrence of the string "incomplete" is in the keyword INCOMPLETE_PURGE_TIME.

So do I have to add a new line? If so, what is the keyword? If not, am I looking at the wrong configuration file? Or does this technique only work for older versions of Limewire?

I really would like to specify a folder for Limewire's incomplete downloads, independently of the folder for complete files.

try adding the line "INCOMPLETE_DIRECTORY=C:\Path\To\Your\Incomplete\D irectory" to your limewire.props file

(there are a lot of settings that can be set and that don't appear in the limewire.props file by default).
