I don't speak Spanish but I'm guessing from your post in the Spanish forum that you have a problem with LW not downloading because it can't find a license for files??

360 Share is not exactly the same as LW. This version is by people who sell it at some scam sites & is a slight variation of the main LW program. What variations are in it I do not know. But do not be surprised if spyware appears in it.

I did check with Limewire's site but could only find versions back through 4.18.8. It's obvious that I have the S/N key to 4.0.8 Pro :aweof:

Quick question: Maybe I missed it when I was changing my preferences, but how do I get rid of the pop-up window that lets me know my downloads are done? It drives me freakin' nuts!

OooPs, Sorry. I actually thought it must have been a Typo as that version isn't even at this site below. (click link below). Not sure about your version. Why not Update??? AFAIK, that version isn't even supported any longer.

This is my first post and I don't know where to put all the system information but I do know how you can re-download LimeWire PRO.

Go to Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent « and on the left side you will see in Lime Green Get LimeWire Pro, click on this and it will take you to https://www.limewire.com/sales/forms...o.php?extended

At the very top of the page highlighted in yellow you will see, Already bought LimeWire PRO click there and put your information in.

But first, go to Control Panel Add/Remove programs and delete the version you already have.

I did exactly that and again i say the e-mail address i entered is coming up as invalid. I know that it is correct because it is the only e-mail address i have had in the last six years or more. I feel that it is not fair that i paid for pro for a life-time and only got a few years out of it.

The last I heard, uninstalling LW by means of Add or Remove Programs, may cause problems. Limewire has an uninstaller.

The correct way to uninstall is "Start > All Programs > Limewire > Uninstall". You may still have some remnants left that might require another cleaner like Ccleaner. (link in my sig).

Actually LW does not offer a "Life-Time" Subscription. I'm assuming that you have been Scammed, hence the reason there is no record of your E-Mail Address.

LW Only offers a 6 mnth or 12 mnth Subscription. If your subscription expires so goes your e-mail address.

I entered my e-mail address in several times, and it never worked.
Lime wire did offer a lifetime membership. i have reloaded my computer in the past and it worked before. when i reload my computer i also reformat the hard drive to clean it up completely.

Then how have i been using the same limewire program for over four years? and i have transfered it from my old computer to this one? i found my backup copy and installed it back on here (older 4.18.2.0 version) and it is now working.

It sounds like it. Can you give details. Check your browser history for where you obtained it, post back which site it was.

As far as the payment goes, cancel it ASAP via your CC company. Explain it was a scam exploit.

However just to be sure. Double-check the link in that email, does it have a link to your personal download page. Does that page when you open it say LW Pro in the heading?

:cheesy::cheesy:have aproblem with space not brain but area. i have my computer hooked up to about 10 different things. i also have all my tools mag lite, c drain meter soldering iron fan cell phone and blue tooth chargers all in a corner next to a kitchen the load on my fuse is probably at the popping point and my wife has stacked the garage with so much auction garbage we cant get to the fuse box. help i m making a gigantic foot print.:cheesy:

i need help, i downloaded limewire pro paid for it, and when i go to launch the page it keeps going to a window that says browse the file but nothing happens goes to blank page this sucks because you cannot call limewire for support can anyone help

You can get Pro support here.
If you are using VISTA, right-click the program shortcut & choose run as Admin. This might be your problem. You have not given any details about your set up so that's as much advice I can give at present.

BTW not sure why you posted to a thread in New Feature Requests forum section in a thread called 'Download Details...', when you concern has nothing to do with either.

At the moment, Pro costs $34.95 for a year, $21.95 for 6 months. Providing you bought Pro from the official site Official Website & Free Download - Lime Wire (payment to LimeWire LLC) then you're fine :)

I had limewire basic for a while. It was working fine. Yesterday I lost it and tried to download it again. It will not allow me to download limewire. I followed the steps like trying to download through mozilla and internet explorer instead of aol but no luck. I cleared my cache and everything else that was suggested. Still no luck

hello guys be nice to be able to download limewire pro I've paid for, but for those following limewires blogs I'm having no success even getting passed the installation connection stage, so if any of you have ideas as to how I can download limewire pro, I'd be more than happy to try them. by the by, I've already tried downloading it with four different brousers, and before anyone says it must be my system, I have totally reinstalled after a crash and left off anything that could affect downloading limewire, beside every thing else download fine it's just limewire i have the problem with. Ideas?

Hello I need help. I am new to Limewire. I have the latest version and am using windows 7. The problem is I have 242 limewire files downloaded but only 224 are in I-Tunes. I see the songs in Limewire but they don't get over to I-Tunes. Any idea on how I get them to I-Tunes? Pl,ease help me!! I am an old coot with limited Computer skills.

Drag & drop them from LW's library to iTunes Music icon & they should add. If not, they might not be in an iTunes compatible format or might be corrupt/fake audio files.

OK I admit I am a dunce. I can't "Drag and Drop" I can't seem to "Capture" the tune. I click on a song but I can't drag them to the Itunes icon. I have right and left clicked, I can't drag it. What am I doing wrong?

Another method of drag & drop: Right-click on the file in LW's library, choose Locate on Disk, this will open up the LW Saved folder. You can try to drag & drop the music file from there to iTunes. ;) Click on & hold & drag, let go once you see the + sign when overtop of the iTunes Library icon.

OK I have another question. Can I at least burn a CD from a playlist I create in LM??? That would solve my problem

I am not sure, you would need to experiment with that idea. Playlists created in LW can definitely be opened by other players that utilise playlists. ;)

If you are still having a problem with a few music files not going into iTunes, try opening them with another player to be sure they play ok.

Also are you sure only 224 songs have gone to iTunes? There might be another reason for this such as the song name that appears in iTunes is different to the file name. Check the most recently added songs playlist to check this. ;)
Also, maybe some of the songs you downloaded are identical to some others but have a slightly different name.

Keep in mind iTunes can only import mp3, m4a/mp4, aif, wav, & apple lossless audio formats.

I got it! You were right the first time. I clicked and dragged on the musical note icon and not the name Duh! and was able to drag a "Circle" and when I got to the Itune logo icon it turned into a + sign and then I looked in I tunes and there it was.!! Hi I'm new here but have a question. I have Limewire Basic that kept on saying I needed to upgrade to the new version which I eventually did. Now I have the problem that instead of having a download speed of at least 100 to 350Kbp/s I'm lucky if it reaches 10. What happened and how can I fix it. I'm writing from Europe so I don't know what time you're at. Got any suggestions?
