Just put a filter where you can't show anymore than let's say for example 30 characters in the results window. This would help filter out the ones that put like multiple keywords in the file name plus the ones that have all the spaces to elude you to a spam file. Would like to filter out certain characters like the underscore for example. I think limewire can be a lil more customizable if someone is gonna buy it.

I just did a search for a video file called "aldskfja" to see what the results would be and I got
27 files for aldskfja.wmv 106.8kb
40 files for a_l_d_s_k_f_j_a.wmv 106.8kb
49 files for Aldskfja.wmv 98.9kb



116 spam files that could be eliminated by adequate filtering.

I downloaded the first one and it's a spam file for a free ipod or a 17" monitor. Who searches for adds? Please put more customizable filters in limewire!

This has been discussed many times on the forum. I also agree more should be done with the filters. See autogenerated spam results
