mp3 Pro file identification
 

Is it possible to tell which/if files are mp3 Pro files?

And, what m4a files?

Limewire tech support couldn't answer these questiosn.

As an iTunes user, I would find it very handy if LW could detect which files are mp3 pro. Since iTunes can't handle mp3 pro I have to find out the hard way. I also need to use another player to play them. AFAIK mp3 pro was designed for improved quality at lower bit rates (ie: 128 kbps or lower.) But other mp3 types tend to be better than mp3 pro at the higher bit rates.
