I see from previous posts that you intend to improve the search system and that is a good thing.
But one thing should be included also: like xolox does, it should be possible to download the same file from more than one ip, not only because it is faster, but also because the file becomes more available. I mean, if I break my current tranfer now that the file is there, tomorrow the original host could be disappeared; but that doesn't mean that the same file isn't available, maybe some other ip got it: xolox does exactly this, allowing you to resume even if the senders is not the same that started the transfer.
This way I'm 100% sure that transfer will continue on even for days and I'm always sure to find the same files multiple times.
