A client ID thing would be good for LimeWire, like Bearshare QHD or whatever. Phex has it also. You could see which client you are getting a file from, and this way you wouldn't be downloading from ancient buggy clients. I also like the idea of the IP privacy, where instead of showing "66.137.119.28" it would show "66.137.119.xx".
