A LifeDrive version of Limewire Just a thought, would it be worth creating a Pocket PC and a Palm LifeDrive version of Limewire? The LifeDrive has 4 Gigs of storage space and it would be great to download stuff from Limewire at hotspots when I'm on holidays. Let me know what you think. Sphynx :-) |
That would be cool  |
Yeah I'd certainly use it. Maybe there could be a sync conduit that would transfer the files downloaded onto the Palm / Pocket PC to the PCs Limewire 'Shared folder' when a Hotsync is performed. I think Palm's already support Java, so there's a headstart in terms of a Palm version. Sphynx :-) Quote:

there has been some talk of a webstart LW, and there is a bounty for a miniLimeWire ("LimeLight"?) that might be related to your idea. It's on LW's wishlist bounty page http://www.limewire.org/wishlist.shtml |
Thanks for letting me know. That would be terrific if it happens. I'm guessing it would be web-based. Am I correct? Sphynx :-) Quote:
