Ability to block "firewalled" uploaders Since I have never been able to download from a source that was behind a firewall (red IP address), I would like to be able to block those people from dl'ing from me. Any chance of this in the future. I know I could go in and manually block those addresses that show up in "searches", but I don't think it shows whether a downloader is behind a firewall???? Any thoughts about this . . . FishDog |
I agree. What's the point of Limewire pulling up Firewalled users in a search indicating..."This person has this...but oh sorry, you can't have it". And I also agree that if the Firewalled users aren't sharing with others, they shouldn't be able to participate in collecting from others. Isn't this also Freeloading? I'm requesting Limewire add in their options to weed out the Firewall users. What we don't see, we won't miss. |
If you can't dl from firewalled hosts, it is because you're behind a firewall yourself! Limewire got this wonderful 'push-request' message to allow non-firewalled hosts to dl from firewalled hosts. But it's impossible to establish a connection between two firewalled hosts. So, if you wanna block firewalled users, just delete c:/program files/limewire/ and you're done ;) Are u sure firewalled users are downloading from you? |
