How come songs dont have consecutive #'s

I Was Wondering Wht Don't The Songs Have Consecutive Numbers As This Would Help Locate Favorite Songs?

That's not the most educated question I've seen in some time. How the song files are numbered or labelled is up to the person who shares them (or others who pass them on sharing.) Also, the mp3 id3 tag can tell what song order a particular song is in for a particular album.

But if you wish to make a feature request then be my guest.

What I am actually asking is can you configure the songs consectively on Limewire? That is after you download them

I think you mean alphabetically or numerically.
If you right click on the download and rename then just add 01,02 or AA,AB or whatever form of coding you choose to the beginning of the file name.
If thats not it then you will have to divulge more info.

You could add them to a playlist in the order of your preference. That playlist can be saved as an m3u file which can be opened by many other audio programs. But remember a m3u file is simply a playlist file, it doesn't actually contain any music. It simply points the player to where the song files are.
