Afaik, Java doesn't support the scroll mouse, so I don't think that feature can be implemented.

Why?! That would be introducing a platform specific feature, which would contrary to Java's design philosophy of being platform independent, write once - run anywhere and all that.

Are you the person submitting a GUI defect as "Add mouse scroll wheel support"?! The people of LimeWire have better things to do than add "mouse scroll wheel support" and filter out non-sense GUI defect requests.

I am not the initiator of the thread (i usually log in to post). I know there are other things to do and that it is not reasonable to change Java from bottom (although i know very very little about Java).
Just kidding. The grin was not there for nothing...
