I was thinking along the lines of a Java app chat client that points to an IRC server. The other reason I mentioned it was because it could provide faster help response times than the forums. The IRC server I would recommend is irc.DeadlyWhispers.com or irc.P2PChat.net and the room #limewire. Last edited by Seriph; October 23rd, 2006 at 02:29 PM.

Indeed,it would be great for the neighborhood of limewire. it seems that other file sharing progams has there own place to chat with limewire people and others as i seen .(Bearshare) it would make make a big differance because people would share more files with their friends....i would think it would bring more people to limewire ....as a studies at the last covention...limewire was voted # 1 because other people of file shareing programs is laced with spyware or malware...people of yahoo already enjoys usein limewire ....thats all they talk about..( i'm a yahoo member) and also got the word out also to ( www.myspace.com ) just tryin to spread the word about limewire and that it is #1 in my book.hopefully the makers of limewire would consider havein a chat room on there next version.....

* Only a Hobo * A question for you is ...put that in dummy terms...what u just said doesnt make a whole lotta sense ..... if it wasnt for us local people in limewire, limewire would of what it is today.....it would probly be like winmx out of action ....all were askin is to try the idea out and if it bites us in the butt, then so be it.2. i agree about the false files that are mislabeled but , we can use common sense to see these so called files that are false a person can choose whether we can download them or not( just speakin for the rest of us)

Holy crap, I didn't know these p2p companies had this kind of money. Sharman Networks was sued for $100 million! My new goal in life is to make a p2p client. If I make $11m and get sued for $10m it would be worth it.
