Starting Incompletes from scratch!aarrgghh

:nono: Having become resigned to re-searching all my old incompletes, which wont download!!(After many trials etc..) I've noticed a couple of things(Annoyances) Firstly I don't seem to be able to use 'Advanced Search' from incomplete library, also when you click search on an old incomplete file the file starts with the letter t (lower case) is there a reason for this? second and more important ,when you do a search this way nothing comes up but a whole load of fake files and no genuine sources?? so does the letter interfere with search? is this feature ''Search'' from incomplete a total waste of time?? seems i will have to type in title of each one in search bar? is this fake file thing new? or has the search from incompletes always been useless?(Or more politely, not very good)

PS What is the letter '' t '' added in front of search from incomplete folder there for?

temporary

"all" incompletes start with T-
If you're trying to resume fakes, then of course you're not going to get any results. Personally I would delete such fake files when I was sure they were fake listings.

incompetes,fakes,searches,state of the universe etc..

Thanks, now i know t is for temp. does it intefere with searches, second, I.m trying to do searches for partially downloaded files, not fakes, as far as I can tell, part downloaded files which for many reasons won't resume, thanks for previous info, is it possible that some or most of these files are now corrupted and LWire wont recognise them, that this corruption interferes with the search???? or is the ''Hash'' still valid? ie are these ''click'' searches now a waste of time(No real results just fakes) and only answer to type in one by one as an original search and delete partials, and hope i can find them again? Pretty unlikely to find them at this rate!! ie havnt found any yet.Again many thanks u guys for outstanding patience(Most of the time !)

not sure I understand you re: "I.m trying to do searches for partially downloaded files"..an incomplete is an incomplete...all you will ever get is an incomplete...it is impossible to start the download of an incomplete file and end up getting the full file as your download 'manager' only sees the original command to download said incomplete file...you might even end up with an incomplete of an incomplete!

as far as your situation, the best you can do is to try and force resume your incompletes and hope they do something...

thanks, Peerless Iv'e done force resume, done limewire folder, done nervous breakdown knashing of teeth, still wont resume, so tried searches, all fake results, should i then delete All incompletes, write down titles etc.. and start the weary process all over again? seems only option??
Thanks newbee2
PS Sorry yes I mean for the original titles.

yep...that's your only 'sane' course of action...and I have had to so the same many times, so don't feel alone

Hello,

I am not sure any of this, do you mean u can not resume, find sources? or what?
Or when resuming it starts from 0% ?

To my knowledge , there is no fix for the 0% downloading, or i dont know the trick to resume, terrible and painful.
(somebody tell me there is a way to resume , please)

As for searching for sources for your file that is busy downloading, normally when u do a search for the file name while the download is pending in the download window, as dsoon as your search finds fles you are after, thwen your download should actually say 'downloading...' or queued if the person has limited upload threads.
