ATT TEAM LIMEWIRE :new ideas for gnutella use

Cool Adam. You and the rest of the LW team are doing a fantastic job as gnutella developers. Im flat broke but I donated 5 bucks to Limewire tonite. Thats the least I could do. Any projections on how long it may take to intergrate the whole network into 1 connected body?

Oh, I think bringing back the gnutella "communites" feature would be cool. Perhaps implemented to accomodate the ultrapeer technology. Or how bout the ability to create user clubs?

For example - say a user could create a club for Grateful Dead bootlegs. People using limewire would see "grateful dead trading club" in their community window. then they could enter that community via a chatroom and communicate with people that share this interest.

In addition, how bout when ure doing a search for something -e.i.- Hendrix bootlegs....you could click on the person with the desired file and see what clubs they belong to or their hobbies. That way, guitarists can chat with other guitarists and share their own music lessons, cakewalk files, etc.
This would also be good for people that have different hobbies such as people who like to cook - they could swap recipes. Gnutella has so much potential I think this would really expand its possibilities. By bringing together people with the same interests gnutella would benefit info exchange for everybody and become the greatest resource for information and knowledge exchange on the internet. Furthermore, If the LW team could bring back the ability to look into other users folders it would make the experience even better. I truly think gnutella is going to become more than just a great file sharing program.
Thanx
