Searching in the Library!!!!! I don't know if anyone has suggested this already, but seriously, when I have like 200+ songs in my library, it takes at least ten minutes to find a preferred song. I think the next version should have a search in the library, so for example if you needed to find "Midnight Train", but you didn't know who it was by, you just type in "Midnight" or "Train" and it will give you a list of your search results making it a heck of a lot easier!! |
Searching in Limewire Hi, maybe there is a need for a search function in Limewire, however, I have a large amount of files too, but as Limewire stores them numerically and alphabetically, it doesn't take very long to go from A-Z. :rolleyes_2: |
Yubda, Depending on what version Limewire you have, the search function is already in place. I think the 4.13 versions were when this was enabled. I can't be 100% on what and when but I know in the later versions it's available. Might be time to upgrade. Hope this helps. :D Charly also has a good point. All of you're files should be alphabetized. If they are not and you want them to be, CLICK on NAME on bar above you're files. ;) |
They do Alphabeticalize theirselves, and yes that helps alot, but sometimes they aren't labeled properly, and the name of the song is farther in the name. Anyways, if it's already a feature, Sweet! |
Hi Yubda, Again I think depending on the version you use, you can change how a file is labeled in the Limewire library. If you Left click on a file it will Highlight. Now Left click again and you should see the cursor blinking. Now you can change the file to whatever or however you want them in you're library to correct any mislabeled files. I always Capitalize, correct mispellings and do away with those Dreaded #'s like 01, 02 etc. Hope this helps. :D |
