Here's a request....develop a program that works!!!!

Limewire is HORRIBLE!!!!! I've had the new version for over a week and i have not completed a single D/L. The searches are totaly unreliable.
You can search for something once and get ten matches. Search the same thing again and get 200 matches. Try the same search again and again and get nothing. I'm about 2 seconds from junking my Mac and givin my money to Bill Gates(uuuuggghhhh.....perish the thought). Please do someting. Mac users want good filesharing proggies too!!!

- Do you have the Pro version? If not, what makes you think that the Limewire team somehow owes you something? They don't. The software is free, and if it doesn't perform you can't rightfully whine. If you have something constructive to say (for instance, a specific suggestion or bug report), that's different.

- Limewire relies on the Gnutella network. Becasue the network is constantly changing, your search results constantly change. This isn't a problem with Limewire.

- Now, if you are consistently getting sparse search results, check your connections tab. Make sure you have a good number of stable connections (4-5 is usually good...less if you're on a modem and more if you're on a T1 or greater). If you have 4 connections that stay up, and you search (and give it ample
time), you will get what you seek.

- If you're searching for uncommon files, you may not find any. Sorry, but this isn't Limewire's problem.

- This has nothing to do with your Mac. Limewire is for Windows, Linux, Mac, etc.

- In the meantime, whining won't help the situation. If you would simply read the documentation you would understand what your problem is.
