Timer On LimeWire Pro (suggestion)

Dear Lime Wire Support & Members ,

I Was Wondering If There Was a feature in limewire , where u can que your downloads to start on a specific time ? , I.E i can keep Lime Wire (On) And Que My Downloads to start on 12 PM.

Is it possible to have that feature with Limewire Pro ?

thank you

Ps\ it would be really helpful

This would be a wonderful option to have on Limewire because of the obscene amount of bandwidth downloading takes. My internet can't handle anything else while Limewire's downloading stuff, and i know other people who have the same problem. It would be great to have Limewire wait until a time that nobody is using the internet to download the songs i had picked out earlier in the day.

Exactly ,

What made me think of this idea , is when u have someone using the internet and u dont wish to bother him with downloading , u just que it for 2 hrs, and u can leave without having to come back and start the download manually.

I hope limeWire Developers Work on this Feature Soon For us Pro Members

That would be a good idea because a lot of people that have Isp that are Throttling or caps or Fubs in sertin time of days that would work for some people but not every one.

Thats my Two cents.:xeri_ok1ani:

Scheduled Searches and or Downloads

Many of us in this small world of ours are getting ripped off by the satelite ISP Hughesnet.com. The main reason is because Hughesnet limits our downloads to just 250 MB (depending on the plan) per 24 hour period. And get this, all for low the cost of only $89.99 bucks per month. What a deal for BFTD (Barely Faster Than Dialup) speed. But Hughenet has us by the private parts becuase we live in the country or we may be in the millitary on deployment over-seas. In all fairness, Hughesnet claims to have plans to launch their own satelite in early 2009 that will greatly clear up network congestion.

Now... currently there is one great thing about Hughes.net. Between the hours of 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM EST; Anything goes. Unlimited downloads!!! Get in as much as you you can because at 6:00 AM EST the doenload clock starts ticking again. Limewire, we love and we would love you even more if you would give us the ability to search and schedule our downloads.

I'm sure you have already thought of this idea and yes I understand some of the limitations but why not BETA it and see how it goes.

When will I schedule my Limewire downloads? You guesed it; at 3:00 AM.

Thanks...

I also have Hughesnet because I live in the country. I feel like they take advantage of us by putting a limit on downloads. No other internet service does this. If I could get a different service, I would. So I would like to be able to schedule my downloads. Limewire please help us out. Give us the option to schedule downloads.Thanks.

Sorry folks, but I believe you're asking for the impossible.

Remember, LW is a p-p program; you cannot download from someone who is not on-line. And there is no way to know who will be on-line hours from now.

You certainly would not want LW to conduct a search for a file and then choose which one to download for you, unless you want lots of spam.
