Being more Music friendly
 

The generic template for files is weak and deprecates the use of metetags in music files. A new view specifically for music with a column for the Artist, one for the Title, one for th Year and one for the Album with the options to show more such as track number, disk number etc

The problem is customizing Limewire for music, makes it a nuisance when searching for other things. There is a need for separate views for music, video etc.

An example of better searching, in iTunes there is a feature called a smart playlist. Theree you can create a playlist with music from a specific period, artist(s) or in based on any available metatag. Adding such functionality to Limewire et al would make it easier to filter results.

An example, select for year is between 1957 and 1959. At present I need 3 tabs to view such a selection.

One more thing, being able to filter out song files with no bitrate (obviously a trojan)
