Deleting messages from the download pane (suggestion to Limewire)

Hi guys, LimeWire PRO rocks!!! I've been a happy paying member for years now! :yahoo::aweof::xirokrotima:

I do have one suggestion... I have long wished that an option to DELETE items from the Downloads section of the search tab would be made available in LimeWire. As you know, currently we have to click on the Library tab or go directly to the folder on our PC to delete items. Sometimes this can be a little inconvenient (especially if there a lot of files in the download folder).

It would be far more convenient to be able to remove items directly from the download window (i.e. using the right-click menu). For example, suppose you are downloading a file and realize it is not the correct file... or a song or video, and listen to the preview, and realize it's not the one you want... It would be nice to delete it immediately, either by right-clicking and selecting "delete" or highlighting it and pressing a delete button.

Additionally, it would also be cool to have a button that opens the actual download folder on your PC.

Thanks for considering my suggestion.

For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you. This can also be applied to the incomplete folder though you'd probably very rarely be needing to use it for that.

Thanks! :) That solves part of my comment...

Thank you for the response. :D I know about the Library page. What I was referring to was to be able to easily delete and/or browse contents in the download folder by right-clicking on the item right in the active download window. It would just be more convenient.

You know how it is when you're looking for something (such as a song) and you start to download it, listen to the preview, and realize that it's not what you were looking for? It would be cool to right-click on it and delete it right there, without having to switch to the library tab and then select the incomplete folder and then highlight the item and then delete it. You catch my drift? :xeri_ok1ani:

Thanks for the tip though! :wai: I appreciate it!

Have a cool night!!! :)
