Download Virus Scanner

An advanced virus scanner imported to scan only downloaded files?
Most other torrent downloaders have this.

To where it'll show, roughly, a scan bar ( [Scaning... <x>%] ) then the download bar ( [Downloading... <x>%] ).

Make sense?

*cough*Install on free*cough*

I don't wanna download a virus...

anybody who is anybody knows you need an AV for all computer activities....so, if you are anybody with a clue you will already have an AV, so what's the need for something embedded in a p2p program?

and would you trust anything supplied by a p2p vendor to be kept up to date and such?..I certainly wouldn't...

Yes. I have one. I'm also getting a better one soon.

But, some viruses hide from AV scans.
Plus, I'd rather take a few minutes to scan a file rather than risk it being like the AnitiVirus 2008 PRO virus... Trust me... Only way to fix is to reboot from disk...

Not all AV's detect all viruses. Some AV's don't add certain new definitions for months or many after some other AV's. Strange to see free AV's updating definitions for new 'known' viruses well before the commercial ones. lol :D So no 'one' AV is guaranteed. All miss or are slow to find certain ones in their updates, due to their own lapse in research.

If LW was to add an AV, then lawsuits would be filed for damage done with the user's thoughts that their system was safe (false sense of security) when they willy nilly download viruses themselves without doing any research ... such as here Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see)

I can make good guesses on that.
But, be good to take an extra step, huh?
Lawsuits would be dismissed considering LimeWire is used to pirate software and transfer illegal files. Plus the ToS states that you are responsible for anything you download.
