Sorting the Library by created date

I believe that it is easier to sort your music through that date that it was downloaded on. This way it will be sorted by the songs that you downloaded last according to date. So if you had a choice to download by the date downloaded it would make it easier for them to find the most recent songs. If there is a way to sort by the most recent downloaded how would I go accomplish this?

There's no 'date modified' or 'date added' etc column available. What you could do is add your music files to another player if that player has those options... then you can sort your music by date outside of LW's library.

For instance, iTunes has both Date Added & Date Modified & WinAmp has a Last Updated column that you can show. Other players might have the same kind of thing

Ask the developers why they got rid of it

Ask at the forum that I've linked to in post # 2 & they might see your post... they won't see it here.

Some other p2p & gnutella programs have date created/modified option. But LW is often a little slow to think such things are needed for the average person.

I mean really...simply go directly to your downloads folder, right click on the field (i.e. not on a file) and choose Arrange Icons By and choose modified....

I'm just saying it would be a lot easier for the average person!!! Also why not add this feature so that people do not have to rely on other folders or music player to do it for you. Also regarding to adding this to the forum you have post for me...I was wondering you could post it for me?? I am having some difficulties doing it. I would greatly appreciate it!!
