You can paste!

You have to press CTRL+V to paste into limewire.

Copy --> CTRL+C
Cut --> CTRL+X
Paste--> CTRL+V

If you are talking Windows, then CTRL-INS is outdated. You should ALWAYS use CTRL-C - it is supported by almost every (Windows-) Program I met till yet.
(Even by most of the Dos-Programs)

Linux users need JRE 1.4 to be able to paste. 1.4 even supports mouse wheels, third-mouse-button-paste and is quite fast.

Paste doesn't work for Mac. :(

Alternative cut/copy/paste shortcuts

The standard Windows edit control supports Ctrl+Insert, Shift+Insert and Shift+Delete and I think LimeWire's controls should as well.

Paste does work for Mac--but you have to use the control key instead of the apple key while you're in Limewire. (WHICH IS BLOODY ANNOYING AND SHOULD BE FIXED.)

If you want to copy something from outside of Limewire and paste it into LW, you have to hit apple-c and then control-v.

If you want to copy from Limewire and paste it into anything else, it's control-c and then apple-v.

Copy and Paste are functions of the Java GUI-objects LimeWire uses. If you want any keys changed, ask Sun to do it.
