Paste doesn't work for Mac. :( |
Alternative cut/copy/paste shortcuts The standard Windows edit control supports Ctrl+Insert, Shift+Insert and Shift+Delete and I think LimeWire's controls should as well. |
Paste does work for Mac--but you have to use the control key instead of the apple key while you're in Limewire. (WHICH IS BLOODY ANNOYING AND SHOULD BE FIXED.) If you want to copy something from outside of Limewire and paste it into LW, you have to hit apple-c and then control-v. If you want to copy from Limewire and paste it into anything else, it's control-c and then apple-v. |
Copy and Paste are functions of the Java GUI-objects LimeWire uses. If you want any keys changed, ask Sun to do it. |
...or write a proper version for the Mac that doesn't use Java! |
Well, I guess they could write a proper version for Mac, that doesn't use Java, - given about a year or so, they will have a version ready that could rival the current Java version. Why don't YOU write a version for Mac? |
It'll take too long. I'll just wait for the MP3Rage people to add uploads to theirs. Once they get that client working both ways, all our Limewire problems will be solved. Where are the people who wrote Napster? That worked great on all platforms! |
