Resource hog - Can Newtella be tweaked?
 

First of all let me say that I come here, not to bash Newtella, only to understand it better. It's a cool idea, but when I started running it (today), I didn't get much activity until I added (lots) of hosts in the connections tab. But now I see lots of network activity. I assume that this is handshaking as clients join and leave the network? Is there any way to slow down this handshaking? The Newtella help page says you can edit advanced settings by editing files, but I don't see any editable files in the Newtella directory. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
