can't connect with Blackice and AdSubtract

Hello,
I installed this program on a win98b computer that is also running BlackIce Firewall and AdSubtract and I am not able to connect. I looked at the FAQ and other wesites but could,'t find any help there. Can someone let me know what I need to do.

you may have the blackice control settings set to 'paranoid' which would prevent people from accessing your computer from remote locations, which is exactly what the gnutella software does. that's just my best guess though.
