can I listen to the song while downloading?

If I use this program will I be able to listen to the song while it is downloading? and will I be able to delete the download if the song isn't the one I was searching? Is this possible with other gnutella programs? (which one?) Which information can I get from a file before downloading it? (length, bitrate, errors ?) THANK YOU VERY MUCH

i THINK (not know but think) that there is a temp folder for newtella somewhere and if you find it then you could listen to the incomplete file via winamp or another program. as for bitrate and stuff i would reccomend db power amp. i'm to lazy to find it's site right now but i'll tell you, you can go to www.downloads.com and search for it and it will be there. it's explorer intigrated and is primarily a converter but it also comes up with a little info box that gives stats when you hold your mouse over a supported file type.

hope this helps

Here's a way. On my Windows 98, all you have to do is go to Find, in the name field, put '*.mp3' , then move to the 'Date' tab. Then I put in "Find all files created during the previous 1 days." Then Find it. You should see the file, along with all the other mp3s you've downloaded today. Then your regular default MP3 player should pop up and play it.
