Limewire Pirated Edition 5.6.2 opens then closes

When I click on the Limewire icon it starts to open up, but then it just closes back up!

Have you used LPE before without any problems, or is this the first time that you've installed it?

What operating system are you using (Windows XP, Vista etc)?

Which version of Java do you have installed? Go to Control Panel > Java > click the Java tab > View. What number shows under Product?

AFAIK you may have problems if you have Java 1.7 installed. In that case, go to Add/Remove Programs (or your OS equivalent) & remove Java. Restart your computer. Now click on this link & install the latest version of Java 6 (version 6, update 31): http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Choose the Windows Offline Installer. After installation, restart your computer.

Yes i had this same problem on windows 7 you just uninstall the java 1.7 update and the program should work just fine.
