You should also note that some of the spyware installed during the Limewire installation does NOT get uninstalled during the Limewire uninstallation process.

BS!!! Installed programs should not leave behind a bunch of hidden crap when you uninstall them! Limewire needs to fix their uninstall program so it removes all the spyware as well. You shouldn't need some third-party software to clean your system afterwards! Maybe one of those 6 full-time developers could find time to devote a half-hour to fixing this???

Give 'em a dollar, they want the world

All you guys who are dissatisfied with a FREE Limewire program, pony up the #*@! money and buy it, I did. The world isn't free, boys, it costs $$$ to develop a program like this. Personally, I like it. Not as good as Napster, but what is?

AFAIK, it doesn't find TopMoxie. I use Ad-Aware myself and seem to remember having to delete TopMoxie manually.

Try the "LimeShop" uninstaller in the Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs. That should take out the LimeWire trash, but other prog's crap will still be there, which can wreak havoc as well.

In you have Win98/ME/XP, try going Start->Run and entering "msconfig" (without quotes). You may want to pay close attention to the startup tab. Many problems can be solved here.

And an hour to dl a song?!? Was probly a slow******* source, but whose to say for sure?
