I have found some errors in the latest CVS. One is that the 'About' box does not show up. Here are the errors that show up in the DOS window when running the class files directly using the bat file (not a LimeWire.jar file). There are no error messages provided when using the jar file, even though it doesn't work that way either. Obviously, some errors have already scrolled off the window, but this should help someone track down the problem.

maybe you are missing some files.
i run the latest (well 3 or 4 days old) and it shows the about window.

i'm downloading the latest source right now to check it out.

ok i made a brand new build an what i noticed is that the about window is much cooler now but i didn't get any errors.

OK, the latest CVS fixed the about box problem, although it takes forever to come up. However, the one thing that still remains a mystery is that the header options for audio and video (right-click on the headers on the results list) are not there. When running the class files they ARE there, but NOT when running a LimeWire.jar file. I'm NOT talking about seeing the headers themselves, but rather the options that appear in the popup menu. The menu does not include the audio/video submenus, and even though the props file specifies the headers as being there, they don't show. What gives? Please try this yourself before you respond.

Maybe it's not always the best idea to download the latest CVS-code, if you want to run it. They are always going to be some bugs, that were not fixed yet. At the moment the cvs-code is under heavy development, every day features are added, changed or removed, so if you got a working copy, you should stick to it, unless you know some Java yourself.
