Might be worth to add, that sometimes saving the document as .bmp or 24bit png, and then printing the saved file, sometimes works wonders when it won't print.

If you possessed Acrobat Pro you could save it as PDF (I am not recommending you specially go out to buy this though!) PDF supports either text or image files. The program also supports creating pdf directly from web pages on condition it is not rights protected. Acrobat is not a text editor though & you'd need to use a different program to edit it. Though you can remove unwanted pages.

In my experience, inability to print might be related to odd characters in the document. Sleepless' suggestion is very good!
