I downloaded an exe file and when I try to open it I get "LimeWire will not launch the specified file for security reasons". How can I get this file to open?

Use windows explorer (Double click "My Computer"). if u didn't change the shared directory, it should be in C:\Program Files\LimeWire\YourVersion\Shared (Where "YourVersion" is the version of LimeWire you used to download the file, like "2.3.2")
This protection is so you don't open a possible virus thinking it was an MP3 or vid clip. Cheers
