Frequently "Disconnected"

These days I frequently get "disconnected". Whose problem is this?
Anyway to avoid? Is it only me?

While I'm on the subject, on LW 2.4 (Mac OS 9.1) when I double click on the search in order to repeat search, I get nothing. I used to get a set of selection where "repeat search" was given as an option.

I also would like to have the IP addresses included on the search result column. Is there a way to re-set?

To research right-click on your search results. To show the IP address you have to right-click on the bar above the search results with the titles of the columns.

Hey, thanks for your reply.
You see, I'm on Mac, and as I understand the "right click" is an equivalent of "double click", right? If so, it's not working, I'm afraid. Mind you, "double click" was the way to repeat search in earlier versions...

As for the "frequent disconnected", any further thoughts?

Thanks Taliban, anyways, for your insight (scary username, BTW).

Isn't "command-click" on Mac the same as "right-click" on Windows? Forgive me if I'm wrong... I thought that's what I did in Limewire to repeat a search... I actually haven't used Limewire for a while (tired of it messing up).

You're so right! Which planet did I come from?
Yes, it works with command-click.
But, I am still pretty sure double-click worked for me earlier...
Never mind, command-click it is.

Thanks, Julie Z

yes you used to be able to doubleclick -- I liked that.

You get "disconnected" when there are no hosts available under the connection tab. The time limewire spends on each IP address looking for a good host is sometimes long for me, so I click "remove host" or whatever that button is.

You don't have to "reconnect" usually. It will connect when it finds a host.

Thanks, gratis, for letting me know about the story behind the red light. I'm also relieved to know I wasn't dreaming about the double-click.

Well, back to work....Downloading, that is!
