it means you're doomed :-)
it is saying that you have no sources to download the file, but limewire sent ot a seach for it, if it finds a match, it will try to resume the transfer.

Actually it means that the guy with the file has all his upload slots filled, or is offine. It's the same as remotely quequed in KaZaA.

But, in all likelihood, it means you're doomed :-)

No,

this means that you are qued in the order you ask, if you ask as the third person you got the third free slot. There is no such technic within Gnutella yet.

A re-query means that Limewire resents your search request to find more sources...

"you are qued in the order you ask, if you ask as the third person you got the third free slot" Hm, cool :). Is the remotely thing being considered for implementation or just impossible to do while maintaining compatability with older clients? It would be nice, but I truthfully never noticed its absence.

To save everybody some trouble, they should just have . . .

My experience with the infamous "requery" is that some of the files will eventually get downlaoded... but often I just keep Limewire up overnight and get 20-50% of the stuff that is listed as requery. Generaly I just kill the stuff off and try again later or modify my search criteria to find the target file a different way.
