How long does it search?
 

I can't find an answer in the documentation anywhere -- does LimeWire (or Gnutella, or whatever) just keep on searching? Or does it search for 30 seconds or a minute and then stop?

It seems that I can search, wait a minute or two, and search again, and get very different results -- I kinda doubt everybody logged off in that space of time.
