Great Looking Software (BUT)
 

What's with this program. I can never get it to download anything. It is by far the sweetest looking and stable. But KaZaA and Shareaza. I search find and download. Some are fast and some are slow.

But they download fast with my cable connection for the most part. I get nothing but the waiting with the seconds counting down with LimeWire. I want this to work. I really like this software.

I am using Limewire (2.5.2), Shareaza, Bearshare and Xolox - I have about the same luck with all of them although I have to say I prefer Limewire (an old friend) and Shareza (Gee-Whiz) (in that order) - I am sure there are some issues with each client but I'll be darned it I could point to any one of them as being better at this point in terms of search results vs actual downloads.... searches on Limewire that yeild poor results can, 5 minutes later, yield large results and then you are at the mercy of the hosts out there . . . I have found though that I have better (apparent) success when I choose results where more than one host is available.

ShareaZa comes up with the most. But crash alot on me. KaZaA is the most reliable.

I really like LIMEwire and be willing to pay for it if it performed better. I get limited stuff on the searches and the downloading is up and down......Ya I know that's the nature of all this. But not for every program.

I really hope this one becomes my favorite. It has a way to go though.
