downloading mp3 files? I have downloaded audio files to my computer (Windows XP) and the file type lists as Winamp media file. Is this the same as MP3? I ask because I burned these to a CD but it only plays on my computer, not my home stereo. What am I doing wrong? |
you need a conversion program,, get "CDex" free from cnet.com-- do a search for it. then use it to convert the mp3 to a wave file... then you can burn it to cd so it will play on your home stereo. though, there are new players that will play mp3 c.d's- the benefit is that you can get 10 hours on 1 c.d good luck! |
You probably downloaded mp3 files. check by R-click and look at properties. With most good burning programmes you can burn a audio cd direct from Mp3 without the need to convert to Wav. |
These programs may also meet your needs. Music Match Jukebox Win Amp Real One Player Several on Download.com |
