Would you care to elaborate or is this just an expression of general frustration?

yea - thats so odd - what porn advertising? - do you mean banner ads for bikini waxing or search results that yield porn files - if the former simply switch to ad free software - if the latter simply set your filters more stringently (though its still seems odd to me since I filter nothing and at least for audio files there's virtually no porn on offer)

Porn

I have my adult content checked but still the Porn advertizing I see is listed under other names. For example I looked for Scrapple: 29 files came up and 21 were porn downloads using the name of Scrabble. The host is *IP address removed*
It doesn't matter what programs I try to download, this same porn comes up under the same name I was searching for. If you download the file and check it out, your computer will be inundated with porn, with listings in your favorite files and desktop. Some is very difficult to get rid of. This is very deceptive and they should be banned. Porn is porn not Scrapple or Hoyle, etc.

If you haven't done this already go to Tools / Options / Filters / Hosts in the upper window marked filter hosts add the IP you posted. This should help reduce search returns from this source... it is always possible there are multiple IPs in use. This method has helped me in the past. Other than that there is no way I am aware of to keep the unscrupulous from creating such problems.

Thanks I thought that was for banning chat from specific hosts. I tried it and it seems to work. Thanks again for your info.
