I need to get rid of a advertizement
 

God dammit... people... I have a banner at the bottom of my limewire screen... I need to get it off so i can listen to my music... Please help me:confused:

How do the banner ads prevent you from listening to your music? :confused:

ok here is my problem. I have a banner that runs on the verry bottom of my limewire screen. Seeing i cant get the songs ive previously downloaded, i think it goes over that screen... thank you for your time

The banner at the bottom does not prevent you from downloading anything nor does it prevent you from watching your downloads in progress or listening(Launching) them.

This might be your problem:

If you look at the bottom of the screen slightly above the banner adds you will see a dotted bar with a couple of tiny arrow heads on it.Click at the arrowhead that points upwards and the Download Window where your downloaded files are processed and Launched will appear instead of the Search Result Window.To display the Search Result Window once again and Hide the Download Window just click the Arrow Head symbol that points downwards.You can also adjust the sizes of each window to your own likings by moving your mouse cursor over the bars and then when cursor turns to a doublearrow symbol you can drag the individual window and adjust their sizes.

yes... i know how to view my downloads... but how do i get them after ive downloaded them and turned my computer on and off? do i have to download them again?

Now I get it!

You can click at the Library Tab next to the Connections Tab and then you will now see whats inside your Shared Folder.Browse to the file you want to listen to and then highlight it and then click the Launch button.Also in this Library you can see all the paths to where on your HD the files actually are.

Now your Music should play.

thanks... that worked. but now how do i get the shared folder to show up on the screen on where i want to get my songs to burn from thingamabob

:confused: I bought and d/l'ed LImewire, and I STILL have that banner at the bottom. How do I kill it???????? I didn't pay to have ad-spam!
